Day of the Dead Cat Skull

I decided to take a break from working on my new website and draw something! I really like the way it came out. I may end up doing a colored painted version of this in the future. "Day of the Dead Cat Skull" 8.5"X11". I used a photo of Anakin for reference :) The Original, Prints, etc will be available soon. If you'd like something of this image before then just contact me ;)

My sweet Zoe

I'm heartbroken to tell you all that today we helped Zoe pass over the rainbow bridge. Over the passed week she began to feel so much worse, didn't want to eat hardly at all and absolutely hated us giving her fluids & my trying to feed her. We tried a few meds that our vet suggested for her appetite & nausea but they didn't help. She was miserable and I couldn't let her feel that way or keep doing things to her that she hates. Zoe spent her last days in my lap & nights sleeping by my head & knowing how much we all love her. She was my cuddling lap kitty and I feel so lucky to have had so many years with her. She was the last of our original 4 cats. She joins Leo, Pookie Bear, Tabby & George at the rainbow bridge. We will see you all again someday Zoe. Until then we Love you so much & miss you already. New Art! "Carmilla" for The Rabbit Hole Artist Collective's Auction Penny Dreadful Tales / Love Spell

"Carmilla" for The Rabbit Hole Art Collective's January Auction Penny Dreadful / Love Spell. The Original Painting & Prints are available here, http://tinyurl.com/TigerpixieCarmilla  About my piece, "Carmilla", written by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu was first published as a serial novella in the penny dreadful magazine The Dark Blue in 1871-1872. Carmilla is a vampire that preys on females and can take the shape of a monstrous black cat. Le Fanu's Carmilla is said to be the template that Bram Stoker used to create his famous novel Dracula 26 years later.

WIP 78 Tarot Carnival Queen Of Cups

New Year New Art! :D Here's the rough sketch of my "Queen of Cups" for the 78 Tarot Carnival deck. She's a queen fortune teller inside her wagon at the carnival. You can see the carnival tents and a Ferris wheel out the window behind her. She is holding a water filled scrying goblet and is surrounded by tarot cards, candles, crystals etc on her table in front of her. She is going to be called “Madame Zoe, Teller of Fortunes” and is modeled after my sweet 17 year old cat Zoe. The keywords for the Queen of Cups are, Compassionate, empathetic, intuitive, dependable & discreet. I think these are all traits that you would want your fortune teller to have. Other elements of my card are Water, the color blue, suit of Hearts & Sunset, these will all be included. In the traditional card the cup is ornate and gold, mine will be the same. The queen of cups is supposed to be sitting on a elaborate throne with a shell shaped back and and cherubs one the sides, mine will be like this in dark wood and of course I made kitty cherubs ;) Her "crown" is her headdress that is covered in gold and jewels & will match her necklace, rings & the gems in the cup. I think that about covers everything. I hope you all like her. I'm starting to paint today! :)
