Forrest 8/14/2020 - 12/25/2022.
We had the Vets do everything they could to try and save him. After
being treated at my regular vet Thursday (22nd) he didn’t improve.
Forrest was hospitalized at the 24 hour emergency vet Friday morning
(23rd) They thought he could have Feline Triaditis based on his
bloodwork Liver values but his Glucose levels were very higher Friday
morning. They started treating him for
Diabetic Ketoacidosis. They thought he was getting better Christmas Day
(25th). We were able to visit him Christmas afternoon. It was
heartbreaking seeing him like that. He knew were there, and he was happy
to see us. Then 11:38pm Christmas night, they called us and said he had
passed away. We had no idea he was sick. Earlier in the week he was
still eating, drinking, playing and acting normal. it all happened so
fast and we are completely heartbroken. He was only 2 years old. He was
the sweetest boy. I still can’t believe he’s gone. We miss him so much.
The emergency vet bills to try and save him were over 6 thousand
dollars. If anyone would like to help contribute to his vet bills, we
