Trixie was diagnosed with tumors about a month ago. She has one between her heart and lungs and another smaller one further down in her abdomen. We don’t know for sure that it’s cancer but we would be treating it with the same medications either way. Trixie is about 15 1/2 years old so we do not want to put her through traveling to specialists & lots of stressful vet visits or any kind of invasive surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation. We are treating her with steroids, appetite, stimulant, Nutracal, all the kinds of food she wants to eat and tons of extra love and cuddles. Right now she is doing well, Trixie does get tired very easily, but overall she still acts like she feels pretty good most of the time and is eating good, drinking water, using the potty, & purring. She even carried around her little fuzzy toy meowing like she does when she’s happy. I appreciate any and all good thoughts and well wishes for Trixie ❤️ I will keep you posted on how she is doing.
