Stone Balanced Lion -   AKA "Two Of Earth" for the 78 Tarot Elemental Deck. Two Of Pentacles is  an Earth card, So I wanted to include lots of stones, rocks, moss,  vines, trees, etc. I decided to go with a stone lion for the figure  because I've always wanted to paint a lion. I made his tail extra long  in a sort of a half figure 8 to represent the infinity symbol from the  traditional tarot card. To me the extra long tail makes him more magical  & not just a typical looking lion. The two pentacles are sliced  tree stump medallions with a carved sun on one & moon on the other  with the glow around them filling in the rest of the infinity symbol.  Since he is a magical being the lion's tail is starting to turn back to  normal from being stone. He's standing on balanced rocks with moss &  greenery on them. The background is full of earthy greenery and wavy  vines. Two shadowed birds representing the ships and ocean waves of the  traditional tarot card.

Last Call for the "Elemental Cats" 16" x 20" Full Original Painting! :) https://tigerpixie.com/shop-cat-art/original-elemental-cats I painted my "Elemental Cats" on a 16" x 20" Cotton Canvas Sheet in 2009 & have kept it as one sheet since then. I was hoping to be able to sell it as on big painting but that hasn't happened. So this is the last chance to purchase my "Elemental Cats" Full 16" x 20" Original Painting. Right now it is still on Sale on my website till Friday Night making it an amazing deal for what is essentially 4 original paintings in one. If it doesn't sell I will be cutting it into the 4 individual 8" x 10" paintings to sell, "Elemental Earth Fairy Cat", "Elemental Air Fairy Cat", "Elemental Water Mermaid Cat" and "Elemental Fire Fairy Cat". Elemental Cats WIP Pixs 1&2

Here's what I've done so far :) I am now working on the white starburst that will be in the center. The first image is the purrrty background with paper cut outs of the cats taped over the middles. The second image I did some splatter painting (so much fun!) over all four backgrounds and used the cut outs to keep the splatters from getting in those areas ....





Right now all 4 paintings are on one big 16" x 20" canvas sheet together. This way it will be easy for me to scan & offer them as one big 12" x 16" print together as well as individual 8" x 10" prints too. As for the Original I may offer it for sale as the whole big painting and also individually at the same time BUT once one of the individual paintings sell I will just sell the others on their own too & take down the whole big painting offer. I hope that makes sense LOL!

WIPS! Elemental Cats, Air, Earth, Fire, Water, Rough Sketches...

Here are all 4 very, very rough sketches of my Elemental Cats. They will each be 8x10 paintings and will all fit together as one big print with a neat kind of star burst in the middle.....









They will be really pretty when they are all done and a little different from my normal paintings. I'll post more WIPs of them as I am painting them ;)

Sorry I haven't had much to say on here. I've just been really busy with family stuff and haven't felt like writing much online.
