I'm playing catch up! These are all the posts about her so far :) She's doing so much better now as you'll see in the last pics.

Our New Baby!
Our
new baby! She was in the middle of the road in my brother-in-law's
neighborhood & not moving. Cars were just driving around her like
she wasn't there! She ran into someone's yard when I came up to her. I
had some cat food and she was starving so after some coaxing &
following her under cars & in bushes my daughter and I were able to
catch her. She ate all the food I gave her and was already purring on
Angel's lap (my daughter) within a few hours of being at our home. I
took her to the vet this morning. She is approximately 10 weeks old. She
weighs 1.75 pounds and should weigh around 3 pounds at this age. She is
a little pale & has worms so she was given worm medicine. She also
had some flea dirt so she was given flea meds. I have her on Hills
Urgent Care AD mixed with SuppliCal.  She is very frail, you can feel
every bone down her spine & her legs are so bony. My vet says she
was starving and pretty much used up all her muscle mass just to keep
going. Because of that she's walking kind of crouched right now but
shouldn't be for long now that she's eating properly and being taken
care of. My vet says that we will be amazed with how quickly she
recovers from this and gains weight and start acting like a normal
kitten. In the video on Anakin's Facebook ( I'm sorry it wouldn't post
here) https://Facebook.com/anakinthetwoleggedcat you'll hear her meow!
To me she sounds like a little old lady :) No, she doesn't have a name
yet. I'm thinking we might give her a Game of Thrones name since I was
crawling around all over someone's yard in the dark trying to catch her
while the Game of Thrones finale was on & I love that show ;) We'll
see what her personality is like first and then see what fits. Right now
she is set up in our hall bathroom just like we do with all new
kitties. I'll keep you all posted on how she's doing.

Our little one had a rough night
Our
little one had a rough night last night. She had really bad diarrhea. I
gave her subQ fluids and Pedialyte. I took her back to the vet as soon
as they open this morning. On the way there she finally pooped out a
mass of dead roundworms! Our vet gave her more fluids and started her on
a med for her diarrhea. We also switched her food which has helped a
lot. She think that the AD was too much for her a little system to
handle. She did get A bath today since she was such a mess from the
diarrhea. So far the diarrhea has stopped. She spent the day at the vet
and looks and acts like she feels so much better now. I brought her home
tonight. I will be bringing her back in the morning. I have to go out
of town for an art convention that I've had scheduled for a year. I'll
be at Dragoncon in Atlanta GA. Our little one is going to be staying
through Labor Day weekend until I get home with the amazing wonderful
ladies at my vet's office. She will be watched over and taken care of at
the vets office during the day when they're open. Then when they close
she will be going home with one of the vet techs for the night. I think a
couple of the nice ladies will be taking turns. My mother is in town
and on call if they need her. I will be getting updates from these
wonderful ladies and my vet while I'm away. My son & mom will be
taking care of Anakin, Mika, Trixie & Pixie. It's going to be a very
hectic weekend for me. I will try and keep you updated if there is
anything. Thank you all so much for all of your love and support for us
with our new baby. You all really are the best! This pic is from last
night before she started feeling worse. As of right now we are leaning
towards Arya for her name but it's not decided. She really is a scrappy
little survivor! Hope you all have a wonderful Labor Day weekend! Have
fun & Stay Safe!

Arya Update!
Arya
is continuing to get better. It's been 2 steps forward one step back
along the way. While I was out of town they did an X-ray to check her
insides since she's been bloated and had diarrhea. Everything looked
normal. She has put on some weight and is now up to 2.75 pounds from
1.75. She is much more alert, grooming herself and wants to play with
cat toys too. Arya has a UTI and is on antibiotics for that. She is also
on a probiotic and baby gas drops. She's been running a fever of 104.2
at its highest. They gave her SubQ fluids & I have more for this
weekend. My vet thinks the fever could be the beginning of an upper
respiratory infections since she still has a little bit of gunk in the
corners of her eyes. The anabiotic she is already on for the uti will
cover any kind of secondary infection from a respiratory infection. She
still has worms & got another dewormer today. She had bloodwork done
and is FIV and leukemia negative. Her Bloodwork all looks good except
for mild anemia but that could be from the worms she has. The test for
FIP/Coronavirus and toxoplasmosis will be back next week. She acts like
she feels pretty good, purring, curious, eating & drinking fine and
wants to play a little. I think that just about covers everything. Thank
you so much for all your well wishes and support. I will keep you all
posted!

Arya Update 😊❤️
Arya
Update, she's doing much better and is now 3.1 pounds. Her diarrhea has
been gone for over a week. She's still taking her antibiotic for her
UTI, also a probiotic & baby infant gas drops. The tests for
FIP/Coronavirus, blood parasites and toxoplasmosis all came back
Negative! She's still running a low fever off and on & has eye
discharge. My vet thinks she has a kitten virus like calicivirus or
Rhinotracheitis that just has to run its course. She doesn't act sick
at all. She's becoming a normal kitten! She's happily, eating, drinking,
pooping, peeing, napping, playing, cuddling & purring all the time!
The other cats are well aware of her in the bathroom & have seen me
carry her around the house some. They have been a bit hissy &
growly but that's to be expected. I will begin setting up a screen in
the hallway to introduce them properly once Arya's kitten virus is gone.
I've included a pic of Anakin staring at the bathroom door. He knows
she's in there! Lol! Thank you so much for all your well wishes and
support! I will keep you all posted.
