New LE Canvas Prints! Ceramic Art Tiles, New Mini Bookmarks....
Happy Spring! I've got a big update today... New items! LE Canvas Prints, Licensed Ceramic Art Tiles & New Mini Bookmarks.
First, I am very, very happy to share with you my Limited Edition Canvas Giclee Prints (Hand-Embellished Signed & Numbered, Gallery Wrapped Canvas). These really are the next best thing to owning the original painting and are very affordably priced!...
They are full color professional quality Limited Edition, 8" x 10" and 11" x 14" Gallery Wrapped Glossy Giclee Canvas Print with Hand-painted Embellishments! Highly collectable Limited Editions! Only 75 of each painting will ever be made! They are truly One Of A Kind! Since each canvas is hand-embellished, no two will be identical! They really look just like the original painting! No frame is needed! The canvas has a hanger and is ready to display.
How I create each canvas print; It is a 3 day process to complete one of these canvas prints. The image is printed with my professional quality giclee printer on a sheet of prepared artist's canvas. Then I add hand paint details of the image with acrylic paint and hand sign and number the print. The canvas print is then hand coated and set with a UV protectant giclee varnish shield giving it a glossy finish just like the original painting. Last, the canvas is stretched onto 3/4" stretch bars with staple-free sides that are black. The back of the canvas has a sawtooth hanger and is ready to display and is also signed by me, including the title date and edition number. I would also be happy to personalize the back of the canvas at your request. Note: Edition Number, Signature & brushstrokes will vary since these are hand embellished.

MegaCon :) // LE Canvas Prints Coming Soon!
MegaCon was lots of fun! My table was right next to Alex. So that was really cool :D I was very nervous about having to talk to people but It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be at all. I kind of slipped right back into "waitress-ing mode" you know with lots of small talk. If I had a dollar for every time someone was walking by my booth and said "OMG Kitties!" and came over too look, I would be sooooo rich LOL! Thank you to everyone that stopped by my table. It was so nice to meet everyone and hear all the wonderful kitty stories too!

I had 8x10 Prints, 5x7 Matted Prints, 4x6 Prints, Cameo Necklaces, Bookmarks, Postcards, Magnets, Buttons, Coloring Page Sets and I finally have Limited Edition Canvas Prints! I stretched them on bars and they were hanging on the panels behind me. Everyone thought they were the original paintings! They really do look just like the originals :D

Book News! We Have a Date! Big Eye Art: Resurrected and Transformed April 2008!

Pirate Cat :) Captain Leo .....
Here is the very, very rough sketch of my Pirate Cat. You can get an idea of what the cat and his PiRAT are going to look like. This doesn't have all the details, patterns, jewelry, beads, background etc in it. I'll be adding all of those as I paint :).....
I chose my own kitty Leo to be my pirate cat. Which is pretty funny considering that he's supposed to be a big bad brave pirate! In real life, Leo is the biggest scaredy cat I've ever seen :) I chose him because needed a cat that was long haired and I like Leo's markings with the big white "Scar" across his nose. I also made him a little less startled looking in the sketch ;)
If I can get this painting to come out on the canvas the way I see it finished in my head.... It's going to be really, really cool! ;D

New website design...
I have converted my website to a new website and catalog store design. This new site is much easier for me to add new products and cross promote them as well as being able to easily run sales, do updates and much more. The shopping cart is through Mal's e-commerce and allows me to offer more shipping options for purchases. It still uses the same safe secure credit card and Echeck processor as my old site, Paypal.

Feature Purina PetCentric! & a few Magazines & Books news too...

Invitation to Join!! "Tigerpixie's Great Artist's Websites" :)
I paid to have an "ad free" top sites list a few years ago and since I just updated it again and paid today... I figured what better time to ask all of my new artsy & crafty friends to join!.............
I have set it up so there is no voting required and the top 100 (yes, One Hundred) banners will be shown, 70 on the first page. You can be on the list without getting votes. Although the list of banners is arranged by votes. That's just the way it is. So the banner order will be determined by votes.
I have made a really nice small banner link to add to your site if you'd like or there is a text link available too. You don't have to add the banner or link though to be on the list. They are to promote the whole list but also counts the clicks coming from your webpage as votes for your site.
I have submitted it to the search engines. I also have it shown at the top of my Artist's Links Page on my website and my voting icon on my Vote page.
I hope all of you will join!!! It only takes a few minutes to sign up! (After joining I have to approve your site before it shows up. It's just a precaution for me) I hope you all like the list. I tried to make it and the banners pretty :)
